'Essays' is a collection of thoughts that I've recorded. Here are ongoing 'short' pieces of writing, largely my opinion on various topics. I'm generally known as a man of few words and that trait has been something of a hindrance to me from time to time because I don't naturally elaborate. Rather, I prefer be as simple as possible, often to the point of inadvertently withholding important details. Just ask my wife. So, I've begun writing essays about topics that are of some importance to me, and as I grow my collection, I'll also, I hope, grow my elaborative ability.
Essay ĕsā: Noun.
1 a. A short literary composition on a single subject, usually presenting the personal view of the author. b. Something resembling such a composition: a photojournalistic essay.
2 A testing or trial of the value or nature of a thing: an essay of the students' capabilities.
3 An initial attempt or endeavor, especially a tentative attempt.
